# Turn on the app in the embed app

You might see this notification in every section of your app. It happened due to Shopify requirement to embed app with your theme extension.&#x20;

<details>

<summary>Why do I have to integrate app with my theme?</summary>

Firstly, enabling App Embeds (integrate app) allows PingMe to stay fully compatible with your theme and function at its best.

Secondly, it ensures that the app will stop at the moment you uninstall it. You don't need to manually add any scripts to the theme for the app to work, also no code removal is needed upon uninstallation.&#x20;

</details>

* Go to "Setting" tab in PingMe --> Click "Embed App". *(or you can click "Open Shopify" on the notification)*

* Turn the app on and click to **SAVE** button to allow our app work on your theme.

* After integrate app with your theme extensions, the notification automatically disappear in your app. Congrats!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ping-me.gitbook.io/pingme-document/getting-started/turn-on-the-app-in-the-embed-app.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
